LSE Space has been active in the Middle East since 2004 and it has acquired a valuable reputation in the region's space sector as a serious and reliable partner. It has been providing a wide range of services to several Middle East and Asian customers and projects such as Yahsat, Arabsat, Qatar Armed Forces and ATSB (Malaysia).
The development of Satellite Communications and the region's requirement for Earth Observation Systems are increasing demands for more access to space. LSE Space Middle East can respond to these demands thanks to 20 years of engineering expertise in the space industry.
LSE Space Middle East, with Nicolas Stephan as General Manager and a growing solid team of experienced engineers, is a constant and active presence in the region. It provides the on-site project management and serves as a Sales & Marketing platform for the whole of the SSC Group.
Every year LSE Space Middle East attends the CABSAT-MENA trade show in Dubai to present its space engineering services and to meet its current and potential customers and partners.
Over a period of two and a half years LSE Space teams from Germany, UK and the UAE have delivered more than 900 days of training to Yahsat, the UAE Armed Forces and Paradigm (a subsidiary of Astrium Services). The project came to an end in November 2012.
LSE Space managers and engineers will hold a seminar on "Evolution of Satellite Industry in MENA Region" at the Etisalat Academy in Dubai on 10th December 2012.
